Players are able to create their very own shops via our chest shop plugin. Players are able to sell or buy virtually any item in the game. Players are encouraged to create their own chest shops and advertise them to the server, often creating their own player warp to display their shop.

Making a Player Shop[]

Chestshop

The final result of a finished chest shop sign should look like this.

To create a chest shop, a chest and a sign are required, along with any item that might be sold at this shop. Bear in mind, only one item can be sold per chest shop sign. Place a sign on the face of a chest to start a shop creation, then follow these steps:

  • Line 1:
FS Player Chest Shop

Specifics of a player shop sign

The first line of the sign will be the players' username, which will be the person creating the shop. If this line is left blank, this will automatically fill with whoever has placed the sign.

  • Line 2:

The second line will list the number of items to be sold or bought from the chest shop, the quantity can range from 1 to 2304. When a player clicks the sign, this number will be the number of items that are either bought or sold from the shop.

  • Line 3:
FS Example Emerald Shop

Shop selling 5 emeralds for $100

The third line will resemble how much you are selling or buying items for. To sell items from a chest shop for other players to purchase, type B [AMOUNT] on this line. Players are also able to create shops in which items are sold to the chest shop so that players can sell to the chest shop owner, type S [AMOUNT] on this line to do this.

For Example: For players to purchase from a chest shop, type B 100, which would sell item/s to a player for $100. To sell from a chest shop, type S 100, which will buy item/s from a player for $100.

  • Line 4:
FS Pix Item Info Cmd

Example result for /itemdb command for Emerald

The fourth and final line will display what item is being sold or bought from a shop, this can automatically be filled in when a question mark ( ? ) is put in this place, provided that the item you want to be sold/bought is placed inside the chest beforehand.

Note: If you wish to obtain the shop name of an item to fill line 4, you may hold the item in your hand and then do the command /itemdb (See image on right side for example).
